About Reinvent Strong™
Founded by Rebecca Ramsay
“Reclaiming the Feel-Good Factor through all-round strength that lasts decades, not weeks.“

Welcome – grab a coffee and enjoy this five‑minute read.
I’m Becky: former professional cyclist, two‑time UK age‑group triathlon champion, and now more than 600 weeks into uninterrupted training.
I’m a lifelong mover, a mother of two, and a certified trainer who has spent over three decades exploring what real strength looks like when the goal isn’t a peak moment – but a body and mind that hold up for life.
For years, I trained the way many of us were taught: harder sessions, stricter rules, relentless discipline. And on the surface, it worked. I was endurance‑fit, consistent, and high‑performing.
But in my early fifties, I met a truth I could no longer ignore.
Despite developing a powerful aerobic engine, I couldn’t perform a single proper push‑up.
I had stamina – but not the all‑round strength that actually protects you. The engine was strong, but the armour had gaps.
That moment changed everything.
Pushing harder wasn’t building longevity or healthspan – it was creating imbalance. Strength in one area, fragility in another.
And I realised something else: years of only cycling had narrowed my body more than I ever intended.
The same movements. The same patterns. The same demands. Repeated for decades.
Variety had quietly disappeared – and with it, durability.
Longevity, healthspan, and the return of your feel‑good factor each require something different.
And now, research confirms it. A large Harvard study tracking over 100,000 people for three decades found that those who moved in a wider variety of ways had a significantly lower risk of premature death – around 19% lower – regardless of how much they trained.
It’s not just how much you do. It’s how you move across time.
The Shift From Narrow Fitness to All‑Round Strength
Around this time, I considered returning to triathlon. It had shaped so much of my life that it felt like the obvious next step.
But when I looked closer, I realised it wasn’t the racing I missed – it was the variety.
Swimming, cycling, running, walking, lifting, hiking, cross‑country skiing… moving across terrains, seasons, and intensities.
That’s what made me feel strong, steady, and alive. That’s what restored my Feel‑Good Factor. That’s what made me look and feel younger again.
I didn’t want to “go back.” I wanted to reinvent how I trained – so I could feel good now, and continue training sustainably into my 80s, 90s, and beyond.
Training has become more varied and far more enjoyable. Not about preparing for a single performance moment – but about building a body that holds up for life.
And so, from my own frustrations (and still learning on this lifelong journey) and seeing this in women around me, I founded Reinvent Strong.
The Build To Last™ Structure
What I now teach is a simple structure.
All‑round strength built through variety. Strength that adapts with you, in the busy day that you have. Strength that supports your energy, confidence, and healthspan.
Over time, I realised this isn’t built by doing more – but by restoring what modern training often leaves out. Often, it’s about doing less, and increasing the quality so everything works in synergy.
Everything I do now is guided by a three part system:
Anchor – the sport or movement you love
Antagonist – movement that challenges your body in new ways
Armor – resistance training that supports it all
…as well as the fundamentals of: Rest, Recovery and proper fuelling that underpin that three part system.
This isn’t about replacing what you love. It’s about supporting it – so it lasts. YOU last.
Who This Work Is For
This work is for active women 45+ who want to reclaim their energy, reinvent themselves, and build all‑round strength that lasts for decades.
Not extreme transformations. Not quick fixes. Not the cycle of pushing hard, burning out, and starting over.
What we’re building here is steadier, smarter, and entirely within your reach.
When you train through structured, multi‑modal movement – paired with strength, recovery, and supportive nourishment – the transformation goes far deeper than fitness.
Your feel‑good factor returns. Your responsiveness to training comes back. And often, your bike or run times improve without even trying to chase performance!
Your body reflects this shift by feeling more vibrant, capable, and alive — naturally, as a by‑product of consistency and care.
This is not an aesthetics‑first approach. But when your body is well‑recovered, well‑nourished, and building all‑round strength, looking more athletic — and feeling that new vibrancy — often follows… and stays.
Momentum Wins™ – The Engine of Reinvention
At the heart of my work is Momentum Wins™ – the belief that small, well‑chosen daily actions compound into lasting strength, energy, and feel‑good factor.
Motivation doesn’t have to be constant. Extremes aren’t required. There’s no need to restart every Monday – it’s you vs you.
Momentum is built through a rhythm that holds up across real life – fitted in, repeatable, sustainable, and flexible.
The Five Pillars of Reinvent Strong™
Everything here is organised around five foundations – not as rules to perfect, but as structures that protect long‑term durability and healthspan:
Lift – Build the Armor. Progressive strength training that protects muscle, bone, and joint integrity – rebuilding structural resilience first, with lasting changes in how your body looks and feels following naturally.
Move – Build Variety. Multi‑modal movement across terrains, seasons, and intensities. Hills, intervals, steady efforts, cycling, swimming, hiking, cross‑country skiing – this is what keeps the body adaptable, not specialised into decline.
Fuel – Nourish the Body. Nutrition that stabilises energy, supports recovery, and reduces inflammation – not restriction, but sustained support.
Recovery – Enable Adaptation. Rest is not optional – it’s the mechanism that allows all-round strength to adapt and build. It IS the most fundamental and often underestimated area for active women (and men) over 45…
Live – Sustain Momentum. Daily habits that allow consistency to compound from week to week, seasons and years…
These pillars work together to rebuild variety, restore energy, and bring back your Feel‑Good Factor – now, and for decades.
